A village shop in the Horsham district has made one of its customers a millionaire.
Budgens Southwater and Post Office – in Worthing Road, Southwater – revealed the exciting National Lottery news on social media.
A Facebook post on Friday (December 12) read: “A MILLIONAIRE WAS MADE IN SOUTHWATER!
“We’re thrilled to share that one of our Budgens Southwater customers has won £1 MILLION on a National Lottery ticket purchased right here in-store!
“A huge congratulations to the lucky winner – what an incredible moment for our community!”
The shop thanked customers for their ‘continued support’.
It added: “Play responsibly. When you play, you help support good causes across the UK.”
