Christie & Co is selling the venue and describes it as a “prominent detached property that offers food as well as accommodation”.

A Christie spokesperson said, “The pub offers a warm atmosphere with a huge range of wholesome foods including a carvery. There is also a function room able to cater for large parties.

“The property has five letting rooms with the potential for a further eight while planning permission is already in place for another letting room.

“The pub has developed a good reputation over the years both in the local and wider community.”
