New family-run sunbed salon opens in West Sussex

Sunshine Studio, in Sea Road, is being run by Sasha Ann Doe, her husband Levi and daughter Destiny Ann Dinwiddy-Smith.

Sasha said she took up the opportunity to start her own business after being made redundant from her previous job while seven months pregnant.

She said: “The unit next to us was up for rent and it was an opportunity we couldn’t miss out on.

"We now have stability and work for ourselves as a family business. We plan on making our business grow and offering things other than just sunbeds.

“We offer beauty treatments and are looking to extend that further in the future.”

Sunshine Studio offers sunbeds and spray tans, waxing and aesthetics procedures.

Sasha said it has been a slower start than she’d hoped, but is hoping business will pick up as people get to know they are there.
