Which is why is was such a treat when owner and founder of international skincare brand Templespa, Liz Warom, invited me to review one of the company’s Spa to Go online spa sessions and some facial skincare products.

When lockdown hit last year, they quickly shifted their business providing group pampering sessions online, and they have seen it flourish as a result.
To start my experience, I was put in touch with Templespa consultant Sam Beckinsale. She did a skincare consultation over the phone, so she could put together a bespoke range of sample-size products for me to use during the pampering session.

Hide AdMy mum and sister were invited to join in, and she did the same for them, so we all received a package of products in the post that were tailored for our skin type and needs.
On the night, we dialled into a Zoom call, and Sam was waiting for us.
After a quick introduction about the brand – which was inspired by the nutritious ingredients of the Mediterranean – she took us through our luxury facial experience.

Even simple things, such as applying eye cream with your ring finger to ensure you’re not dragging the skin, made the experience not just incredibly relaxing, but very informative, too.
Sam had suggested we light a candle and pour ourselves a drink for the session. It was scheduled for the evening, so I could have my children in bed. And with my husband in the kitchen, I was able to turn my living room into something that felt like a home spa. I turned the lights down low, and felt really relaxed.

The Skin Therapy Spa Experience, as our pamper session was called, really was like bringing the spa into my home.
Sam said: “We all deserve to take some time for ourselves, and that’s exactly what these experiences are about.”

Hide AdAfter the one-hour session, my skin felt amazing. Super clean, refreshed and nourished.
I was an instant convert to the Templespa brand. Yes, you might pay a little bit more than the high street brands, but what you get is completely on another level.
Everything smells gorgeous, feels luxurious, and because they’re premium products, a little really does go a long way.

Hide AdMy absolute favourites were the Toning Essence – because I’m literally obsessed with the smell. Using it makes you feel like you’ve instantly been transported to the Italian coast.
The indulgent, yet light Truffle De-Light moisturiser. It absolutely glides over your skin and makes it feel perfectly moisturised without any hint of greasiness.
And the Purification cleansing mask. With aromas of tea tree, rosemary and lemongrass, it just felt like it was giving my skin a well-deserved MOT.

Hide AdThe whole experience is ‘try before you buy’, so you can host an event for your friends without any upfront costs. There was no pressure at all from Sam to buy anything, but I’d be amazed if anybody came away without wanting to treat themselves!
It really was is lovely way to spend a chilled-out evening with family, or friends, at the same time as giving your skin some much-needed love and attention.
