A Worthing fish and chip shop has been named as one of the best in the UK.
Chipwick, in Brighton Road, has been recognised for its great service and fantastic food.
Delicious Magazine named the Worthing fish and chip shop one of the best in the UK, commending its crispy batter, fluffy chips, and use of a nearly 40-year-old recipe.
And the chippy has now been awarded the 2025/26 Gold Seal Good Food Award. The Gold Seal is given to businesses that have consistently achieved the Good Food Award for three consecutive years, signifying a commitment to quality food and service.
Adam Rance, owner, said: “It’s incredible, such a boost for the whole team and much needed in these trying times.
“Chipwick isn’t your standard Fish & Chip restaurant and takeaway, we serve beautiful fresh seafood specials in the restaurant everyday, alongside famous fish & chips & burgers plus we’re licensed too. You can even enjoy a pint of Chipwick's own Cod Father lager.”
Adam also revealed the team will once again be serving their famous jumbo pigs in blankets & loaded Christmas chips with pigs in blankets, stuffing and gravy from December 2.
Adam added: “Chipwick's exciting new delivery service has gone from strength to strength and it’s no surprise because we are doing things differently.
“Chipwick utilise their own drivers in fully electric vehicles to deliver your piping hot fish and chips, and the big difference! No multi drops. Your food is freshly cooked by our chefs, carefully packaged and delivered directly to your door and not taken around the houses.
“Customers have been asking for the service to include lunchtimes, and it’s a yes from us.
“To promote this new offering and to enable everyone to try the difference Chipwick are offer readers 25% off a lunchtime delivery until Christmas. Order on our website www.chipwick.co.uk or download the app here (qr code if possible)
“Once you have selected your perfect lunch add code LUV25 and receive 25% off your basket total.”
