A spokesperson for the company said on Monday, July 8: “We can confirm that our franchise-owned Costa Coffee store in The Martlets, Burgess Hill, is closing its doors for trade today. Team members have been redeployed to nearby stores.
“Customers can continue to enjoy their favourite Costa coffee at our nearest store in Tesco’s Superstore on Jane Murray Way."
They said people could also use the store locator at www.costa.co.uk/locations/store-locator/map.
