A road in Eastbourne is closed to passing traffic this week for repairs to be carried out.

Avondale Road is shut between Firle Road and Whitley Road from 7am-7pm this week.
A spokesperson at East Sussex Highways said, “Following the recent micro asphalt works, we will be adjusting the ironwork on Avondale Road in Eastbourne.
“The work started on Monday and will continue until Friday November 6.
Traffic will be diverted via Firle Road, Whitley Road and vice versa.
