The annual Eco Technology Show takes place in Brighton this June 14-15, showcasing the latest in eco technology from electric bikes, to bio-mass boilers, eco stoves and even waterless urinals, the show will combine new product launches with opportunities for visitors to get stuck in and try innovations for themselves.

Recycleopedia will be there and it’s their first ever show that they’ve attended as an exhibitor, this has brought with it new things to contend with.

Founder Paul Bearman said: “Getting ready for the show has been hard work, but fun at the same time. It’s a great way to showcase what we can offer.

“I’m looking forward to meeting people face to face and finding out what they really think about recycling in the UK.”

Paul set up Recycleopedia in 2010 as an easy tool for people to search local recycling facilities. It’s as simple as typing in what you want to recycle and your postcode – Recycleopedia does the rest. The site also features recycling news and features from professional journalists, recycling information and business listings.

As well as organising a show stand Recycleopedia will also be launching its very own online shop dedicated to selling recycled and upcycled items in the same week.

“Our new online shop will be launched alongside the show and to celebrate we’ll also be kicking off our great competition to win a Kindle Fire and some fantastic recycled goodies from the shop,” said Paul.

The shop will enable us to offer some absolutely fantastic products to people who visit the site and who are interested in learning more about recycling. If you have a product which might fit the bill, we’d love to hear from you.”

The Eco Technology Show runs this Thursday and Friday, 14-15 June and you can find Recycleopedia at stand D15 on the first floor.
