New personal training facility to open in Rustington

A new ‘small group’ personal training facility is set to open in Rustington.

Momentum, a new venture by Optimus Gym in Artex Avenue, will launch in September.

The concept has been created to ‘bridge the gap between a traditional gym membership and one-to-one personal training’.

Each session will be limited to a maximum of four people, which Optimus says will allow coaches to provide ‘a high level of individual attention’.

Members will also have access to professional nutrition support and will ‘benefit from the motivation and community of training alongside others’.

The facility will offer regular coached sessions throughout the day, allowing members to fit it in around work, family and other commitments.

Optimus, which has another branch in Chichester, said the concept is designed for a wide range of people, from those who may lack confidence or direction in a traditional gym environment to experienced gym-goers who want greater structure, accountability and support with their training.

Ross Elliott, managing director at Optimus Gym, said: “Optimus is there for the local community and we want to continue supporting the community by opening Momentum.

"As part of our ethos we want to ensure Momentum offers exceptional value to the local community by adding extra services including expert led nutritional advice.

"My team and I look forward to welcoming you to Momentum.”

Loz Hemming-Torres, Momentum’s training director, added: “I have been a personal trainer for a number of years, this not only represents the next step in my career but also the next step for Optimus as a company.

"I am excited to bring my passion and knowledge to a wide range of people but most of all helping people in the local community achieve their goals.”

Residents can join a waiting list ahead ahead of the launch date and access an ‘exclusive discounted membership rate’.
