The pub's service started on Monday morning and Rosemarie says the idea came to her to support the area with an alternative option to existing food outlets after chatting to locals online.
She said: "I was heartened to be contacted by many, many people online commiserating with us that we couldn't open when we were about to because of the new pandemic restrictions.

"But that wasn't to be and were quite flat. Then when people started suggesting that we might at least provide a takeaway service it got us thinking. Sam Walker is a brilliant chef and we are so happy that he is with us. His food is incredible.
"So far the response has been amazing and we're thrilled at the support we have received. I think people see that we are trying to make a difference to the town in a small way in difficult times and they are responding with enthusiasm.
"We're open all week, from 7.30am on weekdays and from noon at weekends. Please call 01798 368114 for your order to collect."
