Video game making firm gets healthy workplace award

A major Horsham business is celebrating after picking up a gold Horsham Healthy Workplace Award in recognition of its superior efforts to help its staff get even healthier.

The Creative Assembly, a world-renowned video game developer located in Spires Court in Horsham town centre, was delighted with the new award after first picking up a Workplace Award (Achievement level) in March 2013.

Emma Smith, HR business partner at The Creative Assembly, was thrilled to pick up the award and said: “We are delighted to achieve the Gold Standard for our Healthy Workplace Award. Being a part of the accreditation process gave us the opportunity to recognise our current efforts in improving our employees overall health and wellbeing as well as seeing where we can go in the future.”

The Horsham Healthy Workplace Award is open to any organisation in the Horsham District and staff can provide free help and support to help build a healthier and more productive workforce.

“This gold award reflects the effort they put into developing and retaining an excellent workforce, which of course includes looking after their wellbeing.”
