The idea stemmed from the brothers' love of darts and wanting to do something to help those affected by cancer.
The event, held at Handcross Social Club on Saturday October 17, began at 9am, where the two boys, aged six and nine, were joined by fellow pupils and community members throughout the day.
The event concluded at six in the evening after they hit 100,000 points, and managed to raise over a grand for Macmillan.
The brothers are both pupils at Handcross Primary School, where children can earn a Golden Leaf award for demonstrating the school’s values of resilience, determination, ambition, kindness, respect, and responsibility.
The boys decided that organising and completing the darts marathon would be a great way to put those values into action.
Overall the event was a huge success and the family are still raising funds for the cause.
