New cafe launches in Burgess Hill to showcase local trade

Ran by Gavin, owner of Classic Co design, the space is offering a relaxed atmosphere with access to locally sourced coffee, pastries, products, crafts and flowers.

After working in Burgess Hill for four years, he decided to take over the shop previously known as The Mercantile Adventurers, by still keeping it as an independent collective, shop and café, full of local produce.

The new store will continue to work closely with Karen at Beyond the Fringe Hairstyling.

Alongside Gavin’s high-quality furniture and homewares, featured local businesses include floral bouquets from Isuggestflowers and fresh coffee beans from Backyard Coffee, based in Goddards Green.

Open for all, the cafe offers a wide selection of drinks and food with vegan options available.

Hot soup made by Polly is available, alongside a selection of organic pork and vegan rolls which can also be served warm.

Custodians Crafts & Coffee by Classic Co is open Wednesday- Saturday from 9am-4pm.
