Lewes’s annual Seedy Saturday is back at Lewes Town Hall on the 1st February from 10am till 3pm.

As well as the chance to swap seeds, there will be workshops to join, children’s activities, two exciting talks, and over 40 stalls, including community projects and carefully selected growers and suppliers offering a large range of seeds, plants and seed potatoes. Other stalls offer an opportunity to purchase reconditioned garden tools, metal plant supports, basketry and hand-crafted bird boxes. Hamsey Primary School will provide delicious home baked cakes and Seven Sisters Spices will be cooking up a healthy and warming lunch menu.

Topsy Jewell, from Seedy Saturday Lewes said, “We are so pleased to be running Seedy Saturday once again. This year we have raised the entrance price to £2 cash only to cover costs, but as this is an inclusive event for the whole community a reduction will be given to anyone who will struggle to pay. As always children are free.”
