A West Sussex housebuilder has kicked off a major makeover project for Bosham FC worth more than £33,500.

Barratt David Wilson Homes Southampton Division, currently building homes across West Sussex, has funded new match analysis equipment, improvements to the club’s facilities and kit for the team under phase one of the project.

Phases two and three, which will be carried out during the spring and summer months of 2026, will see the club benefit from a range of new features including clubhouse security, a canopy for bad weather, top-of-the-range training equipment and more.

The project is part of the housebuilder’s ongoing commitment to supporting the communities it builds within, improving the quality of life for those living in the region.

Marketing Manager at Barratt David Wilson Homes Southampton Division, Megan Hamlyn, said: “It’s been a pleasure to craft a bespoke project for Bosham Football Club to help it become the very best it can be. Sports clubs play an important role in strengthening communities, giving local people the chance to be part of a team, nurture a hobby and keep fit. We’re very proud to support the club and looking forward to seeing the final result of our work.”

Chairman of Bosham FC Neil Holley-Williams said: “The improvements to our facilities and equipment will make a real and lasting difference to the club. We’ve also been driven by local pride and this project means we can continue to provide a great experience for players, supporters and families for many years to come. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Barratt for its amazing generosity – I’m immensely grateful for its support.”

Barratt David Wilson Homes is currently building developments across West Sussex, including Highgrove in Bosham, Nursery Fields in North Bersted, Fossil Bay in Bracklesham and Sylvan Meadows in Arundel.
