Ark Little Ridge Primary chosen to lead Attendance and Behaviour Hub

Ark Little Ridge Primary Academy in St Leonards-on-Sea, Hastings, has been chosen to lead one of the government’s new Regional Improvement for Standards and Excellence (RISE) Attendance and Behaviour hubs.
The Department of Education’s RISE programme is a national initiative designed to support schools in improving pupil attendance and behaviour.
Running until 2028, the programme will see Ark Little Ridge provide up to 10 days of tailored, one‑to‑one support for six schools in the South East.
This will include reviewing school data and policies, hosting staff visits to observe effective practice, doing deep‑dives to identify strengths and areas for development, and supporting the delivery of new action plans.

Ark Little Ridge will also deliver training events to a wider set of schools across the region.
Ark Little Ridge Executive Principal Natalie Rankin said, “Schools across the country are facing significant challenges with attendance and behaviour.
“At Ark Little Ridge, we have worked hard to strengthen our approach in both areas and, over time, have built a strong understanding of what makes the greatest difference for pupils, families and staff. We are delighted to be able to share these learnings with other schools.”
