Chichester school announces free creative writing and chess events for student

A special enrichment event is behind held by a Chichester school to help pupil's chess and creative writing skills

Westbourne House School, Chichester has announced its is offering free enrichment classes in both chess and creative writing for pupils years two - four on Saturday, February 12 between 9.30 am and midday.

Chess players will be given the option of an introduction to chess for beginners, or for intermediates there will be more advance strategy. In creative writing all the children will work as a team to create one 'swashbuckling pirate adventure'.

Westbourne House School headmaster Martin Barker said: “Chess and creative writing are two of the children’s favourite activities here at Westbourne House School and we really want to share our passions.”
