The FCC Foodbank donation drive is an annual event in the school calendar, which gets bigger and better each year! At the beginning of November, FCC Year 7 and 8 Student Council Representatives went to visit Bognor Foodbank, to see their new premises and find out how they operate.

FCC then did a month-long donation drive for the Foodbank, with each form group being given a bag for donations, as well as donation table set up in the sixth form and main reception.

Year 9 and 10 Student Council Reps, along with Sixth Form Student Leadership, then sorted all the donations and took them down to the Foodbank on December 2.

Mr Summers, Assistant Headteacher commented: “We do the donation drive every year and this year we managed to raise over 480kg of donations which is incredible – and over 100kg more than we donated last year!

"Thank you to all our students and their families, and FCC staff, for your community effort with this appeal.

"It is great to raise awareness and give something back to the local community, especially at this time of year when lots of people can be feeling the pressure of the festive season”.
