GCSEs: Millais headteacher praises students for ‘great results’

The headteacher of Millais School in Horsham has praised his students on another ‘excellent set of GCSE results’ this morning (Thursday August 22).

This year 85 per cent of girls gained five or more GCSEs between A* to Cs including English and Maths.

Leon Nettley, headteacher at Millais School in Depot Road, hailed the grades as another ‘excellent set of results’.

He said there were some outstanding individual results with a significant number of girls achieving ten or more A* grades and two girls achieving A*s in both Japanese and Chinese.

He added: “With high performance across all subjects these are great results.

“Well done to all the pupils and staff who put in tremendous hard work during the year.”
