School strikes in Sussex: Here is where there will be rallies in West Sussex today

Here is where there will be demonstrations in West Sussex as teachers across the country strike.

The National Education Union (NEU) said ‘thousands’ of its members in West Sussex will strike on Wednesday, February 1. This is alongside ‘hundreds of thousands’ more nationwide. The strike will see schools closing across the area as teachers take action over a fully funded pay rise, the NEU added.

In West Sussex the strikes will take place in Crawley Memorial Gardens and town centre from 10.15am, Chichester’s Market Cross from 11am and in Worthing outside the Guildbourne Centre from 10.30am.
