Coronavirus: The tragic number of deaths across neighbourhoods in Adur

New figures show the tragic number of coronavirus deaths that have taken place across different areas in Adur.


Adur saw a total of 39 coronavirus deaths in the three months between March 1 and May 31, according to the new figures from the Office for National Statistics.

The break-down by ward is as follows:

– North Lancing, 8

– South Lancing, 7

– Buckingham, 5

– Cokeham and Sompting, 4

– Marsh Barn and Widewater, 2

– Shoreham Central and Beach, 2

– Kingston and Southwick, 1

In North Lancing, deaths by coronavirus accounted for the highest percentage of all deaths during this time period (35 per cent of all deaths).
