Coronavirus: here's how you can get help in Midhurst

A community network has been set up to help residents in Midhurst amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The group will be working with the church and the town council to offer medication collection, shopping deliveries, dog walking and other services.

Katie Tytler has helped to set up the Covid-19 Midhurst Angels which will aim to support members of the community who have been left vulnerable facing coronavirus.

"We are going to circulate a leaflet saying there is a phone number and email for anyone in isolation who might not have anyone to assist them at this time.

"Most importantly we will get it out to elderly people who don't have people there for them.

"It is amazing the amount of people who have stepped forward to offer their support. It's a brilliant start to helping and getting together."
