Hospitals in the north of England currently have the highest number of covid patients

A number of hospitals in England now have more covid patients than they did at their previous peak, according to data from Public Health England

Among the most recent hospitals to see the number of covid patients rise above the previous peak levels was the University Hospitals of North Midlands Trust, on 27 October.
