Uckfield care worker died from Covid-19

Sixty-two-year-old Sharon Stevenson became poorly and died on May 29 this year.

An inquest into her death was held at Eastbourne Town Hall on Thursday (October 15).

East Sussex coroner Alan Craze said a post mortem revealed Miss Stevenson’s lungs had been affected by the virus and the infection also caused problems with her heart.

She died at her sister’s home in Uckfield.

The coroner ruled Miss Stevenson, who lived in Buxted Court, Uckfield, died from natural causes.
