Hastings fitness group expanding into the community

A team of expert coaches is helping people in Hastings improve their fitness and health through activities including yoga, meditation, body training, and nutrition.

FitRevolution, organised by Yaya Sawaneh, runs hour and a half sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, as well as a Saturday session every second week.

These sessions consist of a wide variety of exercises for the upper and lower body, in addition to mindfulness during the yoga and meditation classes.

Nathan Kelleher, who also part of the fitness group, said FitRevolution is an 'expanding community' which is built to help people improve their fitness and health.

He said: "Our goal is to make the world happier and healthier, bring our community together and to work with like-minded people from all over the UK regardless of ethnicity or culture.

"Whether you're a beginner or advanced, we would encourage anybody with an interest in training the body and mind to take part and grow together."

The sessions take place outdoors in Warrior Square gardens each week.
