Masks to be worn in Eastbourne leisure centre
People using the Sovereign Centre in Eastbourne will be required to wear face masks from today (October 14).
It is now mandatory to wear a face covering while in all public areas of the centre, but not necessary to wear one when exercising, or eating/drinking, or heading to the pool from the changing rooms.
Anyone wanting to purchase anything from the cafe is expected to wear a mask whilst in the queue.
Staff will be reminding customers about the need to wear a mask.
