Patients from any of the surgeries in the greater Littlehampton area can use the walk-in service, which operates from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Click here for more.
Trained nurses and paramedics will be on hand to treat minor injuries such as cuts, bumps, bruises, burns, sprains and grazes.
Dr Tim Kimber, partner at the surgery on St. Floras Road, Littlehampton, said the facility will take pressure off existing A&E departments in Chichester and Worthing.
He said: “We send hardly anybody over to A&E in Worthing. We see and treat almost all patients that come to us.”
The surgery has been running a minor injuries service for several years, and won a contract from the Department of Health to upgrade it.
