St Wilfrid’s Hospice expands bereavement service to support community during pandemic

St Wilfrid's Hospice is now offering bereavement support to people across East Sussex

The charity is now offering its volunteer bereavement support to the whole community, not just those whose loved ones have died at the hospice in Eastbourne.

Ella Williams, family support co-ordinator, said, “With the current situation – lockdown, social distancing and the difficulty of attending funerals – there is no doubt the need for bereavement support is greater than ever in our community.

“As far as we are able we will be extending our support to all.”

Call 01323 434251 to request a call back regarding bereavement support.

Bereavement support for children and young people, aged six to 17, is available through the hospice’s Seahorse Project.
