What Horsham’s new Covid risk level means for the district

New local Covid alert levels are being introduced from today with the Horsham district rated a medium risk area - Tier 1 of the new Government three-tier system.

Horsham District Council is reminding residents that this means the district continues with some of the most recent restrictions.

These include the Rule of Six with no socialising in groups larger than six, indoors or outside.

Pubs, bars and restaurants can only serve food and drink to seated customers, and must close between 10pm and 5am.

Takeaways can continue to offer food after 10pm as long as this is through delivery service, click-and-collect or drive-through.

Gyms, exercise classes and organised sports can continue outdoors - and indoors if the Rule of Six is followed.

Weddings and funerals can go ahead with restrictions on the numbers of attendees.
