Here’s a look at some buses running in and around Eastbourne as far back as the 60s.

5. 1961 bus in Channel View Road (photo from Michelle Rideout)

The bus is parked in Channel View Road, you can just see The Archery pub in the background which is no longer there, the bus is from 1961, carries an East Lancs body and is in the later ivory livery with a blue trim. Photo: -

7. No 69, KHC369, seen at the Gildredge, is the penultimate Regent V to join Eastbourne, and dated from 1963
