Christmas bin collections in Eastbourne and Wealden

Eastbourne:

According to Eastbourne Borough Council, there are no collection changes over Christmas and New Year so put your bins out as normal.

If you pay for a garden waste collection service, you can recycle your real Christmas tree by putting it in your brown bin (chopped up).

Wealden:

According to Wealden District Council, all usual collection days will move forward by one day. So if your usual collection day is December 26, it will be collected December 27. This is the same through until December 30, which will be collected on December 31.

Garden waste collections are suspended from December 26 - January 9. You can use your garden waste bin for your Christmas tree, or recycle it at your nearby recycling centre.
