PICTURES: Father Christmas fundraiser in Eastbourne

The event took place on Saturday (December 17) in the Beacon. The event was organised by fundraisers Don and Abby McPhee and raised money for the Mayor’s charities - Mencap and Eastbourne Foodbank.

Many children took part in the Christmas card colouring competition and met Father Christmas. Presents were donated by local businesses.

Jade Powers provided entertainment and there was also a performance from the Motcombe School choir and Ratton School Irish dancers.

Don said: “It was a truly wonderful day with so many children wanting to meet Father Christmas.”

The event was sponsored by Madeira, Stephen Rimmer, Helix Law, Visick Cars and AMS.
