More than 700 years old
The property was in a state of disrepair when our clients acquired it over 40 years ago, and has since been the subject of careful and sympathetic restoration and improvement, creating a wonderful home, benefiting from a number of original features including a wealth of exposed timbers, some original internal doors and a handsome inglenook
in the sitting room.
The farmhouse is typical of the Sussex vernacular style, characterised by part tile hung, timber framed elevations under a tiled roof.
