Pictures: Alexandra Park in Hastings looking beautiful in autumn

This popular park in Hastings was originally called St Andrew's Gardens when it opened in 1864.

Then on June 26 1882 the park was officially opened by the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Alexandra, and its name changed to Alexandra Park.
