Lamb’s Green pub in the Good Beer Guide for ten years in a row

The Lamb Inn, located near Rusper, was again recognised by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) for its ‘consistent’ good beer, atmosphere and community values.

Chris Durnin, 47, co-owner of the village pub, said: “It’s nice to have done it over such a long period of time, we feel proud.

“It’s nice to get noticed, we’ve had the odd thing for our food but it’s nice to have something for our beer - it shows that you don’t have to come here for a meal, you can have a nice locally brewed beer as well.”

Chris Booth, chairman for the CAMRA North Sussex branch, said: “It’s a really good asset to the branch to have [a pub] that consistently offers good beer, a good atmosphere and is a community pub.”

CAMRA is an independent voluntary consumer organisation that promotes real ale, real cider and the traditional British pub.
