New art and music as Dear Serge takes over

Dear Serge is a new free bi-monthly Saturday event at the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill (2pm to 10pm) that showcases the best in live music, live performance and art.

Named after one of the forward-thinking architects of the De La Warr Pavilion, Dear Serge is an afternoon and evening of cutting-edge eclectic live performances.

From live music, art, and live performance pieces to the more diverse artistic practices, you can’t afford to miss it.

New, edgy and sometimes completely barmy, it covers local and international artists and pieces as well as works from students at the University of Brighton.

There is also the great view, open bar and plenty of comfy seating.

On June 22, the event will feature sound artist Dan Scott, performance artist Hollie Lewis, Hoofus - maker of electronic music, artist Patrick Goddard, and not to be missed experimental music duo Unicorndad vrs Robodad, hailing from Hastings and St Leonards.

Future dates are August 17, September 28 (Coastal Currents special), and October 5.
