Arundel’s Willows Folk Club welcomes top UK bluegrass band A Band Like Alice on Wednesday, February 29.

Willows’ spokesman Chris Davis said: “A Band Like Alice are a great 5-piece band and since their formation in 1995 have built up a reputation in the UK and internationally as fine exponents of hard-driving, foot-tapping bluegrass, with airtight harmonies, dextrous banjo, fiddle and mandolin with rock-solid guitar and double bass.

“The line-up of the band is Richard Collins (banjo and lead vocals), Gary Payne (guitar and vocals), Sheryl Payne (banjo and vocals), Alan Ward (mandolin) and Bob Winquist (fiddle and vocals).
