Spotlight on health for Bognor Regis patient group
There will be a particular emphasis on prostate and testicular cancer at the event on Wednesday (June 13) held by the Maywood Patient Group.
But advice will also be given about other conditions where men are more vulnerable and where the risks can be reduced.

Hide AdWomen as well as men are invited to hear health experts explain the special problems faced by older and younger men.
The event will take place at 7pm in Marion’s Restaurant at Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital.
Patient group chairman Peter Coles said: “Over recent years men have begun to pay more attention to their own health.
“But it is still true men are slow to admit their problems and it is a fact that delay costs lives.

Hide Ad“Men die younger and are less healthy in old age than women.
“While we can’t change some health problems, a great deal can be done to reduce the risks and, if we become ill, we’ll do better if we are better informed.”
The evening is free but entry tickets must be obtained from the reception desk at Maywood Surgery in Hawthorn Road.
