Summer show time at East Preston

EAST Preston and Kingston Horticultural Society holds its annual summer show tomorrow (Saturday, August 4) in the village hall, Sea Road.

The show opens to the public at 2pm, with 23 vegetable and fruit classes, 40 flower classes, 24 cookery classes and craft and children’s sections.

Other attractions include a plant stall, cake stall and charity stalls, together with a raffle and tombola, and entertainment by the Worthing Silver Band and Robbie the Magician, for the children. On the nearby Warren Recreation Ground there will be a fun dog show.

Teas will be available at the show and admission is 50p, with children free.
