TALK: Test pilot to speak about the Harrier

John will be recounting the story of the Harrier from birth to demise to an audience at the town’s RAFA Club.

He will be its guest speaker at 8pm on Wednesday, July 13, at its Waterloo Square base.

John was one of the first pilots to test the Harrier.

His talk will appeal to everyone who has heard about the government’s decision to mothball the Harrier rather than continue its role playing an important part in current conflicts.

Tickets are priced at £1 for RAFA members and £1.50 for guests on the night or from the club steward in advance.
