PHOTOGRAPHY: Storrington Camera Club, Second Projected Image Competition - set subject ‘Architecture’. Judged by Mike Warren ARP. Storrington Camera Club meets every other Thursday at 7.30pm, in the clubroom of the Storrington football club pavilion, located behind Chanctonbury Leisure Centre, Spierbridge Road, Storrington. All are welcome, including guests for our various events and talks, refreshments available. A small fee is charged on the door for visitors.

WALK: All welcome, meet West Chiltington Village Hall (TQ083179) at 10am. Various circular, 4-5 mile, HDC Health Walks, some stiles, moderate slopes, may incorporate windmills, vineyards, llamas and good views of the South Downs. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 2 hours. Sue 01403 255710.

PULBOROUGH: Friends of St Mary’s CE (Aided) Primary School, Pulborough, Christmas Fayre from 6pm to 8.30pm. Stalls, games, raffle, food and drink and mulled wine. Come and be entertained by the school choir singing carols and make a visit to the special guest in his Christmas grotto.

HORSHAM Fairtrade Christmas Market, 10am to 4pm, St. John’s RC Church Hall, near Shelley Fountain, Horsham. 20 stalls of unusual Fairtrade products from all over the world. Ideal Christmas presents for all, which support third world producers and their communities. The cafe will provide refreshments in support of Doctors Without Borders.

XMAS CATSTRAVAGANZA: Cats Protection Horsham and District Branch will be holding their last indoor event of the year at the Millennium Hall, Crawley Road, Horsham, from 1.30pm to 4pm, so make sure to come along for your Christmas items. Plus there will be home-made cakes, CP gifts and goodies, craft items, books and toys, CDs and DVDs and bric-a-brac. Refreshments will be available. The tombola is also back. There is an information table where you can pick up free leaflets on cat care and a screen show of cats looking for homes.
