JAZZ: This week at the Hare & Hounds in Portland Road Worthing we are pleased to present The Dave Quincy/Terry Smith Quintet. Both Terry and Dave started playing in the London jazz scene in the 1960’s. They both became members of J.J. Jacksons Greatest Little Soul Band in the Land alongside Dick Morrissey. The three of them then went on to form the acclaimed 70’s jazz-rock band IF. Terry and Dave last played here earlier this year and gave us yet another great night. What better way to start the Christmas month than coming to hear them again. On this occasion they are accompanied by Terry Seabrook on piano, Godfrey Sheppard on bass and Bobby Worth on drums. Music starts at 8.30pm but to guarantee a seat why not get there early and book a table for a meal. Call 01903 230085.
