SEAFORD grass verges, roundabouts and greens are set to be transformed with thousands of blooming daffodils.

Seaford Town Council plans to sow 16,000 bulbs around the town to complement the same number which were planted in 1997.

Areas could include Blatchington Road/Hill, Claremont Road, the Vale Road island, Chyngton Way roundabout, Blatchington Pond and the Jubilee Garden in Steyne Road.

Councillors were due to discuss the proposal last night (Thursday).
