Hide AdGeorge Ide’s team of cyclists hope to raise in the region of £10,000 for Headway West Sussex (HWS), a charitable organisation set up to improve life after Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) for victims, their families, and carers. The charity provides invaluable support and advice for ABI sufferers in the West Sussex region.
Sue French, who suffered a brain injury and is being supported by HWS, said: “There are times when we struggle with our confidence, concentration and attention but we are able to give ourselves a boost, have a laugh and relax together in a safe and sensitive group environment.
“The volunteers are tremendous and we are provided with support from a psychologist. Headway West Sussex gives us a boost when we most need it so that we can look forward to life and dealing with day to day problems,” she added.
