Hastings Adventure Golf is donating the proceeds from the sales of the special ice cream to Charity for Kids.
The winning flavour was selected by the public in a recent Facebook competition. Inspired by the Adventure golf course, Jungle Juice is a delicious mix of coconut, passion fruit, mango, lime and basil.
It pipped Pirate’s Booty - salted liquorice with gold and silver pieces and Crazy Tee-Time – a cheese and pickle sandwich flavour, to the post.
If you’d like to get your hands on a scoop or two and help raise funds for Hastings’ Charity for Kids then head down to The Beach Retreat Café at Hastings Adventure Golf. The limited edition ice cream is available until August 30.
Gemma Lister, of Charity for Kids, said: “Big thanks go to Hastings Adventure Golf. We appreciate the opportunity to profile our charity locally and of course raise funds so that we can continue to help disabled, sick and terminally ill children and their families.”
Charity for Kids was established in 2011 to provide help for disabled, sick and terminally ill children – and their families. They have helped local children and their families with everything from specialised wheelchairs and walking frames to hot tubs and garden landscaping.
