A great curry birthday night boosts charity
A celebration curry for a restaurant that has stood the test of time brought a boost for charity.
Burgess Hill District Lion President John Gee met the First Responders Team Leader Nickie Smale at the Shapla Restaurant to present a cheque for £440 which was the proceeds of a 3oth anniversary celebration charity curry night that was held there earlier this year.
On receipt of the cheque Nickie had her own surprise in store as she presented a Certificates of Appreciation to Mutahar Hussain of the Shapla and Mr Gee.
