A summer stroll

A summer stroll with a safety message was enjoyed by Little Common playgroup on Thursday.

The children learned about beach safety from the coastal control officers based at the Colonnade.

They met up early on the seafront to start their special day and were joined by families and friends.

Playgroup manager Julie Webster said: "We have a talk about beach safety from the guys there, then we have a sponsored walk along to Galley Hill with our playgroup wearing red and yellow, which links in with our summer theme."
