A27 roadworks warning

ROADWORKS are taking place this weekend.

The Highways Agency is repairing a footway on the A27 junction with the A2270 in Polegate.

Drivers are warned there will be narrow lanes on the westbound carriageway between 9.30am and 4pm on July 5, 12 and 19.

A Highways spokesman said: 'This is to ensure the safety of pedestrians, road users and the workforce.'
