All Saints' leads prayer for peace
MEMBERS of other churches in the town dropped in at All Saints' Church, Sidley, on Saturday morning to share in a special event.
Throughout the morning, the church hosted a prayer vigil for world peace.
The thoughts of those taking part were of Mankind's past conflicts, of current conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan and of the threat of future turmoil in the world mixed with the need for all nations to work together for peace.
The initiative ended with the benediction.
