Ambulance called to Goring home blaze

A PENSIONER was treated by ambulance staff after a fire at her Goring home.

The elderly woman suffered smoke inhalation after a fire in the kitchen at her terraced house in Singleton Crescent at around 9.30am on Saturday (December 12).

Two crews from Worthing Fire Station tackled the blaze, which started accidentally and caused heavy smoke damage to much of the woman's home.
